Weekly Letter: November 3, 2025

I pray everyone is off to a wonderful start to the week! This week marks the beginning of the second quarter of the school year.
Report cards will be sent home this week, along with your child’s school pictures that were taken a few weeks ago.

Glory in a Manger RCA Christmas Play: Sunday, December 7, 5:00 PM
Last year, our students did a wonderful job bringing the Christmas story to life, and many who did not participate wished they had.
This year, we encourage every student at RCA to participate in the production. Practices will start this week, during the school day. 
The music can be streamed on YouTube using the links posted on our website. 


Fundraiser Celebration: Pizza Party
Some students may have been told that the Pizza Party is this Thursday, but due to a scheduling conflict, it has been moved to next week. We will share more information once the new details are finalized.

A special thank-you to Mrs. Samantha Medina for all the work she did behind the scenes to help make this fundraiser a success. 
If you would like to order an evergreen, there is still time! The order link will be active until November 10.


Veteran’s Day: RCA Holiday, Tuesday, November 11
In observance of Veterans Day, RCA will be closed on Tuesday, November 11. We take this day to honor and thank all who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.


Update: Christmas in Ocotober
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part in making our Christmas in October event such a wonderful success. Thanks to your generosity, we collected a great number of toys and received nearly $1,100 in gift card donations.
Your kindness and support will make a meaningful difference for families in need this holiday season. Thank you again for embodying the spirit of giving!


Veterans Chapel Service: November 12 
We are still looking for Veterans who would like to speak at our Chapel service on Wednesday, November 12, at 10:30 a.m.
If you are a Veteran or know someone who would be interested in sharing their experiences with our students, we would love to hear from you. Please let your child’s teacher know or fill out the online form, and we will contact them with more details.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn from and honor the men and women who have served our country. Thank you for helping us make this a meaningful event.

Canned Food Drive: November 10-21
We’re excited to announce that this coming Monday, we will kick off our RCA Canned Food Drive! Students will enjoy a friendly competition between classes to see who can collect the most canned and non-perishable food items. The winning class will be rewarded with Jeans For A Week and an Ice Cream Party!
All food collected will be used to bless families in need during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season.
