Weekly Letter February 11th

I hope everyone is having a great week!This month is Early Registration for the 2026-2027 school year. We will start accepting new student registrations in March. Please be sure to register before the February 27 deadline.

Parents, thank you for referring RCA to your friends and family! We have received calls and have a few parent interviews scheduled already.

Student Tardies
School starts at 8:20 am. If your child is not at their class table by 8:20 am, they will be counted as tardy. Students who arrive after 8:20 am must report to the Fellowship Hall and not hang out in the restrooms or hallways during our morning exercises. The exterior doors automatically lock at 8:25 am. Students who show up after this time will need to be signed in by a parent or guardian. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please give me a call or stop by the office so we can discuss it. 

Students with more than five tardies will not be eligible for their quarterly field trip.

Valentine's Parties     
This Thursday, students in LC1-4 will have their Valentine's Day Party, and Friday, LC5-7 will have theirs; please read your classroom group messages to know what your child will be doing that day. 

FUNDRAISER UPDATES

Live Auction Items: Do you have an item to bring in? Please let us know! We have room to store large items now, or you can let us know when it will come in. Feel free to email [email protected] with the details, or you can call Ms. Sue and let her know. Please continue to reach out to family, friends and businesses for Live Auction donations and to be Sponsors--we still need Live Auction items AND Sponsors. Check the google doc if you are unsure where to go or who to ask. 

Silent Auction: Drop off any Silent or Kids auction items anytime between normal school hours--just bring them to Ms. Sue's office in the church building. We would love to have these before Wednesday, Feb. 25th (this makes Auction set up on Friday, Feb 27 much easier!)

Family Assignments on Auction Day: You should have received your family's assignment for the day of the auction (if you did not receive an email, let me know). The success of the auction is dependent on everyone being at their station or area on time. If you have any questions or concerns, stop by the office so we can discuss them.
BBQ Tickets: Money for BBQ tickets is due this Friday. Students are required to sell all of the tickets they received.If you have any concerns about turning in your money by the 13th, please come by the office so we can discuss. 
Classroom Baskets: If you have not contributed to your student(s) class basket, please communicate with your child’s teacher this week on what you will be bringing or donating for the basket.
Large Orders: We need to know if you, or anyone you have sold BBQ tickets to, will be coming in to get 10 or more plates at one time. We have a list of all large groups, so we can get those orders ready in advance. Please call the office at 512-360-3109 or email [email protected] to let us know the name, number of plates, and the approximate time of pick up.

School Holiday

Noon Early Release: This Friday is noon release; please make arrangements to have your child picked up at noon. If you have someone picking up your child and they are not on the Pick Up List, please be sure to send a note to your child's teacher.

President’s Day: In observance of President’s Day, there will be no school on Monday, February 16. School will resume on Tuesday, February 17.
