Weekly News Oct. 27th

This week marks the final week of the first quarter. Please take a moment to check in with your child to ensure they are on track to complete their projected goals.
If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s progress, please don’t hesitate to contact their teacher. 
We’re expecting cooler temperatures this week! Please make sure your child comes to school with a jacket or sweater. Outdoor time is an important part of our day, and we don’t want any student to miss out because they don’t have something warm to wear.


Christmas in October 
This Wednesday, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., we will be celebrating our annual Christmas in October event!
This year, we will be collecting unwrapped toys and gift cards to help bless families in need during the Christmas season. Everything collected will be distributed to local families, along with food for a Christmas meal. Join us for a fun-filled celebration with food, carnival-style games for the kids, a hayride, and the ever-popular Cake Walk!
We would love for you to come and be part of this effort. In addition to donations, we are also in need of volunteers to help with the games and the hayride. If you enjoy baking, we could also use cakes or cupcakes for the cakewalk.
Your support and participation help make this event a success each year, and we are so grateful for your generosity and willingness to serve. Together, we can bring joy and hope to families in our community this Christmas season.

Veterans Chapel Service 
We are still looking for Veterans who would like to speak at our Chapel service on Wednesday, November 12, at 10:30 a.m.
If you are a Veteran or know someone who would be interested in sharing their experiences with our students, we would love to hear from you. Please let your child’s teacher know or fill out the online form, and we will contact them with more details.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn from and honor the men and women who have served our country. Thank you for helping us make this a meaningful event.

Glory in a Manger Christmas Play
If you haven’t filled out the Christmas Play form, please take a few seconds to fill it out. We would love to see every student take part in the Christmas Play this year!

 Vision and Hearing Screening Form
Last week, students brought home their vision and hearing permission forms. Please make sure these forms are completed and returned to your child’s teacher by this Wednesday. Vision and hearing screening will take place this Thursday, October 30.


October Fundraiser
Thank you to everyone who has participated in our October Fundraiser! Your support and effort make such a difference.
As we approach the end of the fundraiser, we’re asking for one last push—please encourage your child to sell a few more items if possible. All orders must be turned in by Monday, November 3. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Samantha at [email protected]
