Our core curriculum is Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) which provides students with academics, skill building, reading practice, character and wisdom training, and knowledge of God and His Word. This complete package begins with reading development and progresses through high school, giving students a solid foundation for pursuing their life goals.
Each core subject consists of 12 PACEs (Packet of Accelerated Christian Education) per level. Typical students work daily on one PACE in each subject and may be performing at varying levels. The diagnostic test results help to identify academic weaknesses and prescribe a path to help students catch up. Most students complete at least 70 PACEs per year, while maintaining academic balance by completing about the same number of PACEs in each assigned subject.
Can you tell me more about the application process?
All parents interested in applying to RCA should schedule an in-person parent interview and tour of the school. In order to enroll, the application and supporting documentation must be submitted as well as the $150 non-refundable application fee. Once the application is accepted and parents have paid the application fee, families will be notified of acceptance via email or phone call.
What are some big campus events, like homecoming or fundraisers?
We have our annual BBQ Dinner/Live Auction event on the first Saturday in March. RCA also partners with Tribe Athletics each year for Homecoming Spirit Week, and we hold the Homecoming Pep Rally on the RCA campus. These are just a few examples of the events on our school calendar each year!
We hope these answers help you with your questions.
What is the enrollment process for RCA?
1. Inquiry/Tour - We encourage families to join us on campus for a tour and a face to face introduction to our program. 2. Apply - Download and print the Application for Admissions packet. Once completed, please submit the packet along with the $100.00 non-refundable registration fee and tuition deposit, to the Rosanky Christian Academy's main office. Check payment and application forms may be mailed in or dropped off at the main office. Additionally payments may be made via ACH if you choose to go ahead and get that set-up. 3. Assessment/Interview - Depending on age, all students are invited to join us on campus for an academic assessment and/or interview with the Head of School. 4. Once the application is accepted and parents have paid the new student and enrollment fees in order to secure their opportunity to enroll, families will be notified of acceptance via email. Enrollment in the current school year will be offered as space is available. Enrollment for the following school year will be offered during the open enrollment window – that schedule can be discussed with the Admin team.
How can I bless my teacher?
We love and appreciate our teachers, and we know that our parents do as well! We have compiled a Gift Guide that tells each teacher’s likes for your convenience.
What Sets Your School Apart From Other Schools?
We are a Christ-centered school. Our teachers love the Lord and love their classrooms. In addition to the ACE curriculum, students have physical education four days per week (high school PE days may vary). Lower Learning Centers have music class one day a week. Our chapel service, a favorite time for both students and staff, is held on Wednesdays of every week. We enjoy hearing from the Word of God, getting to know Him more, and everything He has for us revealed through Scripture.
