Class Christmas Parties You should have received information from your child’s teacher regarding class Christmas parties. Please look at our classroom group chat to retrieve information about the parties. BBQ Tickets As a reminder, each family with one student is required to sell 20 tickets. Each family with more than one student is required to sell 20 tickets for the first student, and each additional RCA student must sell 15 tickets. You will see that this year, tickets are $15 apiece. Please see the letter with your tickets for more info. The BBQ Auction and Fundraiser are on March 2. I pray that all of you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. This Sunday, December 24, RBC is having a Christmas Eve Service, at 10 am, and a Candlelight Service, at 7 pm. We invite you and your family to join us. I know the students are excited about Christmas, and so am I! What a blessing that as we enter into the Christmas season, we know the true meaning of Christmas and have the freedom to celebrate it not only in our churches and homes, but at our school.
If your student is behind in any subjects, he or she may have their goals increased and/or be required to do extra work so that they may catch up before the end of the quarter. Since the start of the quarter, we have been telling the students that this is a short quarter, with the holiday breaks, and they will need to be diligent in the classroom. Field Trips on Thursday, LC5 is going to see the Nutcracker. Mrs. Elaine sent out information to parents. If you have any questions, please reach out to her. Christmas Spirit Week Next week will be our Christmas Spirit Week. Jeans are allowed all week and each day has a theme. We will send out the daily themes later this week. Pizza Hut Fundraiser Thank you to everyone who supported the Pizza Hut fundraiser last week. Pizza Hut will be donating $533.40 to RCA!! RCA/RBC Christmas Play on December 17, at 10 am, our students will be putting on a Christmas play titled ‘Away from the Manger’, and the band will be leading in music. Bring your friends and invite your neighbor! Christmas Parade We are looking forward to the Bastrop Christmas Parade this Saturday! We are asking everyone to please be at the Little League Baseball Field no later than 5 pm. Decorators and Chaperones are needed, please consider helping out.
