We are in the final countdown to school being out. The list of important upcoming dates is below. Please make sure you are planning to come to the Awards Assembly. Following the assembly, we have a fun afternoon planned for everyone—all are welcome to join. We will have waterslides, food, and snow cones. Please make sure students bring appropriate swimwear (if girls are wearing a 2-piece swimsuit, please have them wear a t-shirt over it), a towel, and sunscreen.

Music Recital
We are excited to see and hear what students have been learning in their music classes. You don't want to miss it! Students will be playing the drums, piano, and some will be singing. We hope to see you tomorrow at 10:00 am!!

Yearbook Order        
The deadline for yearbooks for the 2023-2024 school year has been extended to this Friday, May 10. If you need an order form, please let us know and one will be sent home with your child. 

Merit Dollar Store
All year long students have earned Merit Money by working hard and earning good grades. This Thursday, at 1:00 pm, students (LC1-5) will be cashing in their money for toys and prizes. If any parents would like to volunteer and help students select their toys and prizes, please let us know. We can use one or two volunteers.

VBS 2024
One of the best weeks of Summer is coming soon! VBS is June 17-21. Registration will open soon. Please be sure to check our RBC website for more information. VBS if free and is for all students who have completed Pre-K (4 year olds) through 6th grade.

This week is the 4th week of the 4th quarter. Next week students will receive their Progress Reports. A lot is happening over the next several weeks, please read about each of the events and reach out if you have any questions.

Iowa Testing
Iowa testing for students in LC 6 and 7 will start this week. Parents, we request that if possible, you do not schedule any appointments for your students on the day of testing. If you have one scheduled already, please let your child’s teacher know right away.

Teacher Appreciation Week
Teacher Appreciation week is May 6-10. One of our RCA parents, Samantha Medina, coordinated many food and treats for the RCA teachers and staff that week. Prom
Prom registration and tickets are live!  Students aged 14-18 may sign up now for the prom on May 19th at the Colovista Mansion.  It will be a fantastic night of fun with a beautiful Southern Ball theme!  Dress code will be attached to the registration so that attendees can find just the right dress/suit! Pay close attention to the Prom King & Queen section and remember to vote on May 15th! (Teaser!!!)  Look for your PROM TICKET to arrive within 48-72 hours after you register.

Tribe Athletics
Registration is live for fall volleyball, football, and cheer.  Lynsey Kramer and Mana Sikkema will be leading the volleyball teams with Casey Petrillo as the coordinator.
