March 31st Weekly Letter3/31/2025 Students are in full stride as they begin the first week of the 4th Quarter. Parents, we join you in wanting to see your child finish the school year strong! Arriving at school on time is one way to help students have a productive day. Parents with student drivers, please ensure your child makes it to school before 8:20 AM. Also, let me encourage you to talk with your child about ending the school year well by staying focused on their daily work, striving to complete any homework assigned, and following school rules.
Field Trips- Teachers will be reaching out to share field trip information with you. Please make sure permission slips are turned in on time. Picture Day- Spring Picture Day is Thursday, April 10. Students can dress in uniform, or you can choose their outfit for their Spring picture. If your child did not take an individual picture in the Fall for the yearbook, they will need to take a picture in their school uniform. After they take their yearbook picture, students may change into their second outfit. We will reach out to you individually if this applies to your child. Student Art Work- Magnets and order forms are going home today, please look for them in your child’s backpack. Orders form and money are due by this Friday, April 4. Report Cards- Report Cards will be going home later this week. Please review, sign, and return them to your child's teacher. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the teacher. DONUTS & DADS!!- On April 28, at 7:45 AM, we invite Dads to come enjoy donuts, coffee, & juice with their student(s). If Dad can’t be here, please feel free to invite the next closest person! Today, we welcome our staff and students back after a week off for Spring Break. I pray everyone is returning ready to hit the ground running.
The 3rd quarter of this school year ends this Friday. Be sure your child is at the proper level and on schedule to complete at least 3 Paces in each subject for the quarter. If your child is behind and not on level, they will complete more than 4 Paces in any subject in which they are behind. We want each child to achieve Privilege Status for the quarter. Picture Day- Spring Picture Day is being moved to Thursday, April 10. Students can dress in uniform, or parents can choose their outfit for their Spring pictures. If your child did not take an individual picture in the fall for the yearbook, they will need to take a picture in their school uniform. After they take their yearbook picture, they can change into their second outfit. We will reach out to you individually if this applies to your child. Art Class Magnets- Attached to this email is a letter from Mrs. Michelle for the magnets the students created in Art class. The deadline for ordering is April 4. Parents, we are thankful for your commitment and support to RCA. We pray for you and your family and we ask that you pray for us. Have a blessed week, Bro. Don’t forget to share the Facebook post advertising our fundraiser and auction items. Beans: We are looking for volunteers to help cook pinto beans for the fundraiser meal. If you can help with this, please let us know. We will provide everything needed to cook them. Donations: If any parents are available to act as chaperones and take students out to speak to businesses about donations for the fundraiser, please let us know Class Baskets: Parents, teachers sent information about your child’s class basket for the auction. We need everyone to be involved in contributing to the class basket. If you haven’t already, please communicate with your child’s teacher on how you plan to contribute.
