Weekly Monday Letter

​What are you thankful for? I am thankful for every student and the relationship I am blessed to have with them! 

Today is the first day of the 2nd quarter. This Thursday report cards will be sent home. When you receive your child’s report card, please sign it and have them return it to their teacher. Your student should have at least 3 stars in every subject (if on-level) and if your child has any gap subjects, they should have 4-6 stars per subject.

​Canned Food Drive     The food drive started this past Wednesday. Each year we have a school-wide competition to see which class can bring in the most canned/non-perishable food items. The winning class gets a pizza party, and they will also get to wear jeans (with a polo shirt) for ONE WHOLE WEEK! The canned food drive will run through November 15th. 

Veterans Day Midweek Chapel Service    This year, we have the privilege of inviting Veterans to school to speak to the students. Our guests will share about their military service, when and where they served, and how it has impacted their lives. 

Field Trips     By now you should have received information regarding your child’s field trip. If you do not have the information for their field trip, please contact your child's teacher. 

Kids Christmas Play     If you haven’t signed up to be part of the Christmas play and would like to, please let your teacher know so you can get signed up. Practices will start soon! The Christmas play is December 17th, 10am.

Election Day      November 7th - Get out and vote.
Veterans Day     November 11th – No School (RCA staff and student holiday)
